The Directors at BHH Progress, husband and wife team Bill and Heather Hobden felt the company had outgrown its existing branding. The logo design had been commissioned under tight time constraints in 2012 and although workable it lacked style, failing to communicate effectively what the highly reputed team of business advisors do for their clients.
The new branding needed to reflect the company ethos and provide the team with a sharp, impactful identity that could be rolled out across the website, display boards and all documentation.
Working closely with the Director team, Principal Image took great care to understand in detail what BHH Progress do and how they do it. One distinctive approach that the company uses is a traffic light system which guides and supports their clients on the road to success. Red indicates an area of concern whereas green would indicate the client is getting there.
Principal Image provided a wide range of initial designs that were then filtered down into the best designs to present to the company, each provided with commentary on the rationale behind the logos. The business advisor team agreed on a design that incorporated the traffic lights using red, amber and green to create an eye-catching logo. The green element had a stronger emphasis than the other colours reflecting BHH Progress’s impressive track record for success. The second ‘H’ in the company name was designed in relief representing the hidden potential that BHH Progress looks for in its clients. The clever use of an arrow also conveys growth.
Both clients and staff commented positively on the transformation finding that the new branding reflected the values, ethos and personality of BHH Progress much more effectively than the old design.
The hidden ‘H’ provides BHH Progress with a good talking point when meeting prospects. The new designs have impacted client and colleague perceptions greatly providing BHH with a polished look.
The designs have been successfully rolled out across PowerPoint, brochures and the website providing impact and consistency.
BHH Progress is now sharing their newly updated branding at seminars, conferences and networking events as they develop their own business across the UK. Armed with a new conference banner and marketing collateral also courtesy of Principal Image, they can now display the striking colours and design of their brand to its full potential and ensure their ethos of excellence is communicated to their next generation of clients.
