Warrington Service Centre Ltd is a busy vehicle repair and servicing company which was established in 1998. Based in the heart of Warrington, the Service Centre works hard to deliver high quality service, supported by reputable parts, at a reasonable price and has developed a loyal customer base.
In 2015 the director of Warrington Service Centre, Raf Khan, felt that the company’s website was in need of a refresh. The existing website had been developed in the early days when the business was still relatively new and was now no longer fit-for-purpose. Within the market many of the larger players were offering online booking and there was a need to include information on commercial fleet servicing, a growing market for Warrington Service Centre. The website needed to work harder for the business in what is a highly competitive market and position Warrington Service Centre as a trustworthy, quality organisation.
The new website also needed revamped content which would accurately reflect the company ethos and translate the service offerings into identifiable benefits that would resonate with car, bike and van owners as well as local businesses looking for support with their fleets.
Principal Image spent time understanding the long term goals of Warrington Service Centre and began by refreshing the company logo giving it a stronger contemporary look whilst ensuring it was still recognisable as the well established Warrington Service Centre brand. This ensured that the existing customer base didn’t feel alienated by the new look when it was launched, but also offered a fresh, contemporary design to attract new customers.
A site content map was developed to ensure that all the key markets for Warrington Service Centre could easily access information about the different range of services and that easy navigation encouraged visitors to explore the website. It also formed the framework for web content requirements which was updated in a tone and style that reflected the personality and ethos of the company.
The overall design created was sleek and modern using the existing corporate colours of red and yellow. A revolving banner displayed abstract images of engineers at work along with key brand messages. This also provided an effective platform to display seasonal offers.
An online booking system for MOTs and servicing was incorporated into the homepage, along with clear call-to-actions and a sign up point for the company’s monthly newsletter.
